Attractions : voie lactée est composée de fragments d’une œuvre qui faisait partie de l’exposition individuelle Attractions, organisée par le Musée d’art de Joliette. Dans le cadre du programme d’intégration à la Bibliothèque Yves-Thériault, l’artiste a été invité à soumettre une proposition en vue d’une acquisition. Il a donc proposé des extraits de l’œuvre (une trentaine d’éléments sur les quelque 250 de l’œuvre originale), en réorganisant la composition pour former une nouvelle « voie lactée », de dimensions plus modestes, adaptée à la configuration des lieux.

Attractions: The Milky Way is composed of fragments of a work that was part of the solo exhibition Attractions, organized by the Joliette Museum of Art. As part of the integration program at the Yves-Thériault Library, the artist was invited to submit a proposal for an acquisition. He thus proposed extracts of the work (about thirty elements from the 250 of the original work), by reorganizing the composition to form a new "milky way", of more modest dimensions, adapted to the configuration of the site.
